Ankara Chain supports deployment to four EVM-compatible mainnets, one EVM testnet, and two Stellar networks (mainnet and testnet). Each network has a pre-configured RPC endpoint, chain ID, and block explorer URL baked into the SDK — you only need to supply a network name in your config and a signer with funds.

EVM Networks

Pass any of these SupportedNetwork string literals as the network field in your EVMAnkaraChainConfig.

Default RPC Endpoints

The SDK ships the following public RPC URLs out of the box:
Public RPC endpoints are rate-limited and unsuitable for high-throughput production workloads. Override the default RPC for any network using the rpcUrl field in your config — see Custom RPC below.

Stellar Networks

Ankara Chain supports Stellar via the Soroban smart contract platform. Pass either of these values as the network field in your StellarAnkaraChainConfig.
The "stellar" mainnet entry has no default rpcUrl. You must supply your own Soroban RPC endpoint via rpcUrl in your StellarAnkaraChainConfig. A hosted provider (such as a Stellar RPC node you operate) is required for mainnet deployments.

Stellar Testnet Deployed Contract Addresses

The following contracts are live on Stellar testnet and are pre-configured in the SDK when you use "stellar-testnet". Override them with factoryAddress, nftFactoryAddress, etc. in your config if you’ve deployed your own instances. The Collateral Vault is configured with 60% LTV and a 75% liquidation threshold against native XLM as the demo borrowed asset. The Manual Oracle is pre-seeded for testnet price feeds.

Choosing a Network

Polygon is the recommended starting point for most production RWA deployments. Transaction fees are low (typically fractions of a cent), the ecosystem has deep stablecoin liquidity (USDC, USDT), and it has broad wallet support. Use "polygon-amoy" for testing before promoting to "polygon".
Choose Stellar if your use case requires fast, low-cost cross-border stablecoin settlement (e.g. USDC via Circle’s Stellar integration), or if you’re building for users in markets where Stellar-based mobile wallets are prevalent. Stellar also provides the Collateral Vault and on/off-ramp settlement contract out of the box on testnet. Note that the Stellar adapter requires a Soroban RPC endpoint you control for mainnet.
Celo is worth considering for East Africa deployments where mobile-money-to-stablecoin flows are important. Celo’s native stablecoin ecosystem (cUSD, cKES) aligns well with Kenyan market use cases. Its EVM compatibility means the Ankara Chain EVM contracts deploy unchanged.
Ethereum mainnet provides the highest settlement finality guarantees and the broadest institutional DeFi integrations. Gas costs are significantly higher than Polygon or Celo. Use Ethereum if your counterparties require it for regulatory or institutional reasons, or if you need deep liquidity for secondary market trading.
Use "localhost" during development and automated testing. Run a local Hardhat node with npm run node in packages/contracts-evm, deploy the factory with npm run deploy:local, and point your SDK config at http://127.0.0.1:8545. No real funds required.

Custom RPC

Override the SDK’s default RPC endpoint by supplying rpcUrl in your config object. This applies to both EVM and Stellar networks.
For Stellar testnet development, the default rpcUrl (https://soroban-testnet.stellar.org) is sufficient and no override is needed.
